Reddy Connect — Child Safety Standards

Standards against Child Sexual Abuse & Exploitation (CSAE) · Operated by the Reddy Community Association (Reddy Nalasangam), Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India

1. Our commitment (zero tolerance)

Reddy Connect has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We prohibit any content, conduct, or contact that sexualises, endangers, or exploits a minor anywhere on our platform, and we act on every credible report.

2. Who can use Reddy Connect

Reddy Connect is a private, members-only community app intended for adults aged 18 and over. Accounts are created and managed by community administrators for verified members; there is no public self-sign-up and no accounts are created for children. Minors listed within a family record are reference entries maintained by the head of family and do not have login access or public profiles.

3. Prohibited conduct and content

The following are strictly prohibited and will be removed:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form — images, video, text, or links.
  • Sexualisation of a minor, including in profiles, listings, photos, or messages.
  • Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to make sexual contact with a minor.
  • Trafficking, endangerment, or exploitation of a minor.
  • Sharing a minor’s personal information for the purpose of harm.

4. How we prevent and respond

  • Community administrators review and moderate member profiles and listings, and approve matrimonial profiles before they appear.
  • On a credible report, we remove the content, suspend and where appropriate permanently ban the account, and preserve relevant evidence.
  • We report apparent CSAE/CSAM to the appropriate law-enforcement authorities and, where applicable, to recognised child-protection bodies.
  • We cooperate with valid law-enforcement requests.

5. How to report

Inside the app: use Grievances to raise a complaint, or contact the community office.

To the authorities (India): report to your local police, the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal cybercrime.gov.in (which has a dedicated “Report CSAM / child pornography” option), or Childline India at 1098.

We aim to acknowledge child-safety reports promptly and act without undue delay.

6. Legal compliance

We comply with applicable Indian law, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita provisions relating to offences against children. Where our services reach users in other jurisdictions, we act consistently with applicable child-safety laws there.
